Parking Information
SUNDAY – MARATHON, HALF MARATHON, BIKE TOUR
Parking for Sunday’s marathon, half marathon, and bike tour is available in multiple lots around Downtown Long Beach. Please note some of the available lots below:
- $30 per space
- Click HERE to purchase race day parking online. A limited number of spots will be available online during the pre-sale period. The rest of the spots in the lot will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on race morning for $30.
- Access this parking lot via Pine Ave
- Exit the 710 S at 6th St
- Make a right on Pine Ave
- Make a left on Seaside Way
- You will be directed into one of three lots – Arena Surface Lot, Terrace Theater, or 400 Garage
- Price TBA
- Participants and spectators will have the opportunity to pre-purchase parking passes for this lot via online sale. This lot is reserved for those with pre-purchased passes. You may not park in this lot without a parking reservation.
- Access this parking lot on race day via Chestnut Place:
- Exit the 710 S at 6th St
- Make a right on Magnolia Ave
- Make a left on Ocean Blvd
- Make a right onto Chestnut Place and drive into the garage
- Price TBA
- Participants and spectators will have the opportunity to pre-purchase parking passes for this lot via online sale. Non-reserved spaces in this lot will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on race morning.
- Access this lot on race day via 6th Street:
- Exit the 710 S at 6th St
- Pass Pine Ave and enter the garage via 6th St
- OR make a right on Pine Ave and a left on 5th, 4th, or 3rd St and enter the parking garage from those street
- Price TBA
- Participants and spectators will have the opportunity to pre-purchase parking passes for this lot via online sale. This lot is reserved for those with pre-purchased passes. You may not park in this lot without a parking reservation.
- Access this lot on race day via Broadway:
- Exit the 710 S at Broadway
- Continue straight on W Broadway and make a right turn into the garage
- Price TBA
- Participants and spectators will have the opportunity to pre-purchase parking passes for this lot via online sale. Non-reserved spaces in this lot will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on race morning.
- Access this lot on race day via Broadway:
- Exit the 710 S at Broadway
- Continue straight on W Broadway and make a left turn into the garage
- Price TBA
- Participants and spectators will have the opportunity to pre-purchase parking passes for this lot via online sale. Non-reserved spaces in this lot will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on race morning.
- Access this lot on race day via Broadway:
- Exit the 710 S at Broadway
- Continue straight on W Broadway
- Make a right turn onto Pacific Ave
- Make a left into the parking garage
- Free parking in the lot adjacent to the train station or in the parking garage
- Ride the Metro A-Line south toward Long Beach from the Willow Street Station to the 1st Street Station in Downtown Long Beach for $1.75 (12 minute ride)
- Riders will be dropped off at 1st Street and Long Beach Blvd in Downtown Long Beach, a short 13-minute walk to Marina Green (start line)
- First departure from Willow Street Station is 3:38am on race day.
- Access this lot on race day Long Beach Blvd:
- Exit the 405 N/S Freeway at Long Beach Blvd
- Continue south on Long Beach Blvd
- After passing the train tracks, make a right at the Starbucks and quick right again to access American Blvd
SUNDAY – DROP-OFF AREA
The best place to drop off on race morning is near the intersection of Ocean Blvd and Linden Ave (448 E Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA). Participants can then walk down Linden Ave and cut through the Long Beach Arena parking lot to access Marina Green and the start line on E Shoreline Dr.
SUNDAY – PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Take the Los Angeles Metro’s “A” Line from Los Angeles to the 1st Street Station in Downtown Long Beach. Riders will be dropped off at 1st Street and Long Beach Blvd in Downtown Long Beach, a short 13-minute walk to Marina Green (start line).
From Los Angeles arriving in Downtown Long Beach: earliest arrival is 4:40am
From Willow Station (Long Beach) arriving in Downtown Long Beach: earliest arrival is 3:50am
Regular fare is $1.75 and is good for 2 hours of unlimited transfers in one direction. Plan your trip by visiting www.metro.net.
SUNDAY – DRIVING DIRECTIONS
IF DRIVING ON I-405
From Los Angeles:
Take the San Diego Freeway (405) south and exit Pacific Avenue, Long Beach Boulevard, or Atlantic Avenue. Turn right and head toward Downtown Long Beach on any of these streets toward any of the parking areas.
From Southern Orange County and San Diego:
Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north and exit Long Beach Boulevard, or Atlantic Avenue. Turn left and head toward Downtown Long Beach on either of these streets toward any of the parking areas.
IF DRIVING ON I-710
Take the Long Beach Freeway (710) south and exit at 6th Street. Take 6th Street to Magnolia Ave or Pine Avenue and make a right to access the parking areas.
SATURDAY - AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC 5K
SATURDAY – AQUARIUM OF THE PACIFIC 5K
Parking for the Aquarium of the Pacific 5K is available in the following lots.
- Please allow plenty of time to arrive at this parking lot. Most people arrive at this parking lot via Shoreline Drive from 710-S.
Please note: the race does not validate parking. All parking rates are set by parking lot operators, not the race organizers.
To avoid traffic congestion on Shoreline Drive coming from the 710-S freeway, participants are encouraged to exit the 710-S at 6th Street and use Magnolia Ave to W Seaside Way to access the Pike Outlets Parking Garage.
Participants can also avoid traffic by using the Vincent Thomas Bridge via 110-S to access CA-47 N/Seaside Freeway and exiting Downtown. From there, participants can use Magnolia Ave to W Seaside Way to access the Pike Outlets Parking Garage.

SATURDAY – PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
Take the Los Angeles Metro’s “A” Line from Los Angeles to the Downtown Long Beach station (128 W 1st St). There is a bike station at this metro stop. The Downtown Long Beach station is a short 10-minute walk to the Aquarium of the Pacific (start line).
From Downtown Los Angeles (7th/Metro Station) arriving at Downtown Long Beach: earliest arrival is 4:43am

SATURDAY – DROP-OFF AREA
The best place to drop off on race morning is near the intersection of Ocean Blvd and Cedar Ave (300 W Ocean Blvd, Long Beach, CA). Participants can then walk down Cedar Ave and cut through the Pike Outlets to cross Shoreline Drive and arrive at the Aquarium of the Pacific.
