A full weekend of running will feature the Aquarium of the Pacific 5K on Saturday, October 5 and the marathon, half marathon, and Bike Tour on Sunday, October 6! Visit our event schedule for more details!

RESIDENT & SPECTATOR INFORMATION

Most road closures and detours will be in place between 5:00am and 2:00pm on Sunday, October 6 to accommodate the marathon, half marathon and bike tour. Roads near the start and finish line on Shoreline Drive will close earlier to allow crews to prepare the venue buildout.

The race operates as an out-and-back course and streets will be re-opened on a rolling basis. As the last participants pass an area and all course support materials are removed, roads are opened to traffic at the discretion of local law enforcement. Law enforcement will be positioned at major intersections to allow cars to cross the marathon course only during safe breaks between participants. For the safety of all involved, please adhere to posted traffic signs, equipment and directions from law enforcement and course officials. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

Timing of road closures are approximate and subject to change. For a full list of road closures, click here.

Plan Your Route

Residents, businesses and visitors to the area are urged to plan ahead. no parking

Streets along the race course will be marked with No Parking signs. Unfortunately, vehicles in violation of these posted signs will be ticketed and towed at the owners’ expense. Please make sure you are not parked in a temporary no-parking zone.
