Long Beach has a great tradition of enthusiastic volunteers known as the “Race Team.” We are looking for individuals, clubs and associations to help be a part of this 2,000 plus-person team.

All volunteers will receive a Race Team t-shirt and will be treated to a post-race party hosted by Run Racing.  All volunteers are encouraged and invited to attend the Finish Line Festival on the Marina Green as well.

Long Beach’s 26.2 Club

Volunteer Award

A distinguished Volunteer Spirit Award will be given to the individual, group or water station that best exemplifies the marathon spirit.

2011 Volunteer Group of the Year was Lakewood High School Key Club.
